50% of the employee’s salary, but not more than RON 2,500 per month is granted to entities to employ full time personnel for an indefinite period, from the following categories of persons: – persons whose age is more than 50 years and whose labor contract have ceased for reasons not attributable to them (during the emergency or alert period); – Unemployed registered persons aged between 16 and 29 and Romanian citizens, included in the same age category, whose employment contract with foreign employers in the territory of other states ceased in 2020, for reasons not attributable to them. The incentives are paid during 12 months and the contracts must start during Jan 2021 – Sep 1st 2021. Employers have the obligation to maintain such employment contract for a period of at least 12 more months. The amounts are settled from the unemployment insurance budget at the request of the employers submitted by electronic means, after the payment of the salary rights by the employer.
