Starting with 01.06.2019, the VAT quota for food products recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture as being of high quality, mountainous, eco, traditional, decreases from 9% to 5%. The objective of this measure is to encourage the consumption of high quality food, in the context of the increase in the incidence of diseases caused by unhealthy food. Apparently the reduced VAT for healthy food continues a similar measure regarding sport related services. Shall we expect the same for bicycles? We will keep you updated!
