Law no. 7/2017 regarding state social insurance budget for the year 2017 was published in the Official Gazette no. 128/02.17.2017. Starting 20 February 2017, the average gross salary used to substantiate state social insurance budget in 2017 will be increased by 450 lei to 3,131 lei. The average gross salary is important, inter alia, to establish pension contribution of freelancers.
