Law no. 218/2016 for the amending art. 3 paragraphs. (1) of Law no. 142/1998 regarding the granting of meal vouchers was published in the Official Gazette no. 931/18.11.2016. The law came into force on 1 December 2016. Employers that provide meal vouchers to employees can increase the value of these vouchers to 15 lei (compared to 9.57 lei at present).
